Only a few experts master this profession, which requires traditional tools, a keen eye and skilful fingers. Badger hair with silver tips is precious, therefore every step has to be executed to perfection when binding the brushes. We make equally high demands when it comes the quality of the materials selected for the handles of our brushes and razors. Metals such as stainless steel and brass require extremely careful processing. Special alloys and coatings such as chrome and nickel ensure the beauty, longevity and outstanding performance properties of the collections. Gleaming dishes and bowls made of porcelain and stoneware are also products that involve a high proportion of manual work. We devote the same care to the selection of the natural raw materials used to make MÜHLE soaps, shaving creams and lotions. This knowledge, acquired over decades, flows continuously into our industrial manufacturing, in which high-volume series productions such as bristle brushes take place.
